THE 2005
WORLD SHOWS

There are two
exceptional reasons why you do not want to miss the next World Show. Yes,
there will be an all-star lineup of seminars, and yes, the prize money being
offered is the largest amount for any taxidermy competition. Just as you
expect, you will also be able to see the world’s largest taxidermy
competition and trade show, and the world’s best taxidermy and fish carving
pieces. Here is what will make this show new and different from any before:
Reason 1. The
2005 World Show will be filmed by Century Films, who is making a
long-awaited documentary on taxidermy, as well as taxidermists and their
quests to compete at the 2005 World Taxidermy Championships®. This 90-minute
film will be televised by the BBC in late 2005 and in the United States on a
major network as early as spring 2006.
Reason 2. This
World Show will feature the “Super Seminar,” which will be conducted by
three award-winning taxidermists (Marcus Zimmerman, Ken Zimmerman, and Jason
Snowberger) as they put together a large, interactive piece with habitat.
George Roof will moderate the live action, which can also be viewed on 2
large-screen televisions. It will take place over 2 days in a new
10,000-square-foot event tent, acquired for the seminar as well as for the
2005 World Show Awards Banquet.
