Glen Browning: White-Crested Laughing Thrushes
Although taxidermy conjures the thoughts of mounted game animals, birds and
fishes, it is a constant enjoyment to see nature’s beauty re-created with
non-game species. To do this, you must follow game laws and proper
procedures for your country. Canadian taxidermist Glen Browning did just
that when he mounted this pair of laughing thrushes after being inspired at
a Canadian aviary. His story about this pair is found further in this issue.
Glen and his wife Bridget live in Surrey, British Columbia.
