WHEN KATHY AND I WERE FLYING HOME from South Africa, I said, “I wish I had done this 25 years ago.” I had had the opportunity on several occasions through the years to hunt Africa, but would never make the time or commitment. Now I realize what I really missed the first half of my life.

For both of us, this was truly one of the most exciting and interesting trips we had ever taken. The flight home was long, 25 hours - 21 hours in the air, but that gave us time to think about the 17 days that were filled with the sights and sounds of South Africa. The people were great, the food outstanding, and the country was beautiful. I should not leave out that South Africa is a hunter’s paradise.
