I have been discussing this project with Morgan Matthews since right after the 1999 World Championships. Now that it is underway, I am more excited than ever. I have complete confidence in Morgan Matthews and Century Films. I have viewed a few of the documentaries that the company has produced and I can tell you, they are outstanding! Two have won major awards.

CENTURY FILMS OF ENGLAND HAS STARTED filming for the long awaited documentary on taxidermy as well as taxidermists on their quests to compete at the 2005 World Taxidermy Championships. This film has been under consideration by director Morgan Matthews for the last five years. Century Films proposed the idea to the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) in May of 2003. Only a few weeks later, the proposal was accepted and funding approved for the documentary. The film will likely air in England and Europe in late 2005. Century Films is currently in negotiations with several United States networks for broadcasting rights. One of the American networks, perhaps HBO or Discovery, will likely air the documentary in early 2006. We will let our subscribers know as soon as we are notified.
