THE REFERENCE PHOTOS ABOVE OF A freshly taken turkey show how quickly the colors can change when a turkey dies. It is an individual decision as to how intense you want to paint the colors for a hanging dead mount. The photo of the waddles show the marbling effect that can be found on a freshly killed turkey.
