THIS PAINT SCHEDULE FOLLOWS the procedure listed in the BREAKTHROUGH Fish Painting Encyclopedia with additional information and reference. This schedule is for a skin mounted fish using transparent paints. This schedule can be adapted for carvings and reproductions by prepping the  carving or repro with a wash coat for scale details and darkening the back and highlighting the vertical bars along the sided of the fish before starting.
