MOST TAXIDERMISTS AND FISH carvers are natural improvisers. We perform dozens of various techniques learned from someone else or that are self-taught from day to day. We are constantly alert to the possibility of making things easier and improving the quality of our work. Both of these art forms are seldom without surprises or the possibility of discovering something new that works.

Mundane exercises like sanding, sealing, and filling spaces, may not be worth mentioning because nearly everyone else attempting to render a similar application generally ends up doing it the same anyway. Whether we sit or stand usually depends on how many pounds some of us are trying to balance out there in front of our belts.
