I RECENTLY ATTENDED THE LAST Taxidermy Mini-Course at Piedmont Community College in Roxboro, North Carolina. I saw many of my old friends and made a few new friends as well. This last Piedmont was actually not very much different than the first one I attended. The exception was that many of the students from back then are now the seminar instructors and judges. Some of the annual Piedmont attendees have improved immensely while others seem to be lost in time. It kind of reminds me of Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day. They just keep repeating the same mistakes day after day.
