IN PART 1 OF CALLY MORRIS’
ARTICLE ON MOUNTING a standing Canada goose, he covered the skinning,
fleshing, and washing of the goose skin. In part 2 he will demonstrate his
procedures for preparing the form and mounting the bird.
As mentioned in Part 1, it was
predetermined to mount this goose in a standing pose. It is very important
in this final preparation to know how you want to portray your mount so that
the feet and leg positions correlate to how you will display the mount in
order to obtain correct balance and attitude in the finished piece. This
