ALL TYPES OF KNIVES NEED TO BE sharpened, so why doesn’t it apply to circular currier knives? For all these years, the taxidermy and tanning trades have had no alternative other than to regrind circular currier knives when they got dull.

Once again, Trent L. Meyer, dba Snaketan®, has designed, developed, and is currently manufacturing another problem solver. The new Circular Knife Sharpener (CKS), can be used on all circular knives for basic in-house sharpening. Yes, sharpening! The CKS comes in a kit ready to use, not unlike many of his developments.

The Circular Knife Sharpener was originally designed to sharpen the 3-inch, stainless steel, circular knives on the TillieMeyer™ Mini-Fleshing Machine. Once the 3-inch knives got dull, no regrinding has been available, so purchasing a new knife was the only option, until now....
