HORLÁKSHÖFN is a picturesque seaside village on the south coast of Iceland. The life of most of its 2,000 inhabitants revolves around fisheries, as is common in most of the small villages on the island. On August 26, 2004, much like any other day of the year, two men, Ásgeir and his son in-law Kristján, were down at the docks.
