Let me start by prefacing what lead up to the month of moose madness. My best client, who also goes by “Dad,” called me on September 18, 2005, to inform me that he had a successful hunt and wanted a lifesize moose for his future trophy room. I was at first a little overwhelmed with the thought since I am a one-man shop that really does taxidermy for the sheer fun of it. I had mounted numerous big game such as black bear, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, deer, and even an elk, but a MOOSE?!
