IS A FULL-TIME INSTRUCTOR OF THE ART OF FISH taxidermy, I thought that there wouldn’t be a better opportunity to cover warmwater fish anatomy than through the
experience of a student taxidermist learning fish for the very first time. Participant Terry Shoeffler of Stockton, California, had the goal to mount fish as part of his taxidermy business. Terry knew that a great start in the right direction would be to learn from a school, or in a one-on-one workshop that specializes in fish taxidermy. With so many great opportunities today to learn from instructors who teach and specialize in specific disciplines of taxidermy, someone can accelerate the
learning curve by years. There are presently many great schools and workshops
out there to learn from.
