RAINBOW TROUT ARE ONE of the most commonly mounted fish. As with most fish, the water in which the fish live as well as the time of the year can also
vary the coloration and color patterns of rainbows. Some color variations and intensities of color will also occur in a large variety of subspecies. This paint schedule is for a typical rainbow trout in the silver (summer) phase
and also in spawn. Polytranspar lacquer paints are predominately used, however, I often use these colors for enhancements:
