HABITATS

FOR FORTY-SOME-ODD YEARS NOW, I HAVE been enjoying my job. I still wake up every day excited about what I do. Taxidermy, and for me habitat work, have been an awakening and a journey into new and exciting areas of life, people, products, emotions, and insight. It allowed me to live and enjoy my everyday life in a way that people stuck in a 9-5 job seldom, if ever, experience. A lot of this enjoying came to me through a zeal to reinvent the ordinary. For most people, change equals frustration, anxiety, and fear. To me, change represents excitement, discovery, and joy. If you think about it, all of these emotions are present in any new endeavor. In the end you are the one that decides which....
