MY 13-YEAR-OLD
GRANDSON, DAVID TECHmanski, is one of those bug and snake kids. He reminds
me of our own Jeff Mourning in Colorado. Jeff didn't get married until he
was about 40 years old. He said he would date a girl one time but nothing
would ever last. In the next sentence he said, "Yeah, I had about 40 live
snakes in the house (his bedroom) that I was taking care of." Duh. Anyway,
my grandson David was training Rosie, his Australian bearded dragon, not to
eat. He just about had it trained when the sucker up and died on him.
Meanwhile, I had trained his mother to immediately wrap and freeze any
creatures that died if they had taxidermy potential.
