FOR YEARS WHILE I WAS DOING TAXIDERMY, I dreamed of finishing a gorgeous mount with a museum-type habitat, and as many of us do, I spent hours looking at pictures of exhibit builders’ work in museums, theme parks, and zoos. As I looked, I was in awe of some of their work, for instance, the coral in an artificial reef. Their multiple branches and configurations, minute polyp details, and vivid colors all astounded me.
