AS ANY TAXIDERMIST KNOWS, EYES ARE THE focal point of a trophy mount. To make a mount come alive, there should never be any skimping on eye quality. Modern eyes have come a long way from the flat, doll-like orbs of the past. Fortunately, a number of quality options are available for virtually every conceivable application. Still, new designs and interpretations emerge on a regular basis. As I type this, another is about to soon become what I have every confidence will become a real standout. I am talking about the Black Forest line of eyes being developed by Mike “Buck” Rodgers.
