THE WINGS OF A BIRD REPRESENT THE MOST prominent and complicated features of its anatomy; a thorough understanding of them should be of utmost significance for taxidermists. Next to the head and eyes, wing-setting is probably the most important component to a lifelike bird mount. Of all the aspects of learning how to mount birds, positioning the wings correctly is without doubt the most difficult part for students to master.
