Who hasn't had an out-of-town customer telephone and say, "I'll be coming your way next week, and it would sure be nice if I could pick up my mount while I'm in your vicinity." To accommodate his request, you do your very best to get his piece mounted or finished. You may even order a form by overnight delivery, just to get his trophy mounted and dry for the visit.
This was one of those cases, but I didn't have time to order a form, and didn't really want to pay all those extra expenses on overnight shipping. Instead, I altered an impala form to work for a Grant's gazelle. In this article I will take you through the steps on how I turned one species into another. This may help you one day to get out of a jam.
