Adding the texture to the nose pad of gameheads has become a routine procedure in most professional studios. There are several ways to accomplish it, but one of the fastest ways to get natural looking results is to redefine the original texture of the pad. My method for doing this follows.

Developing nose texture after mounting

1. Note that the nose pad bumps, or nodules as they are sometimes referred to, are flat and wrinkled. This first photo shows the nose and lips, after mounting, and before the details of the nose pad are re-created. For this technique, the nose pad should be fleshed thoroughly and evenly.
