Paint Schedule: Tiger Muskie

The one thing you can say about tiger muskies is that they are absolutely beautiful! A popular fish to stock in new waters, tiger muskies are becoming more and more common throughout the United States. Increased stocking programs means more tiger muskies to be mounted by taxidermists. Maybe you have already mounted and painted a tiger muskie, maybe you haven't. In either case, I hope my following paint schedule help you paint a better tiger muskie.

 A hybrid between a northern pike and muskellunge, the patterns and colors of a tiger muskie are defined and vibrant. The defining characteristic of a tiger muskie is the distinct bar patterning through the head and body. This bar pattern is the result of a strong contrast between the darker green vermiculations which extend down the side, locking in a "finger-like" juncture with silvery white bars which extend up from the white belly. The contrast of these dark and light bars coming together creates one of the most dramatic appearances .....
