THE PAINTS used in this schedule are made by Wildlife Colors and sold through their various distributors. The blue is a special formulation and is called Hazel Creek Blue. I personally use water-based paints.

As with any type of painting in taxidermy, do not be afraid to experiment to achieve different color tones and shades as you paint. Collect as much reference as you can find and study it before you start to paint. You will find many variations and color patterns in turkey heads.....
