CARY COCHRAN is a past World Champion in whitetail deer, but by no means has he confined his talents to this one area. As a business partner of Buckeye Mannikins, he has developed many innovative mounting systems for both turkeys and waterfowl. He is a master sculptor and, as you witnessed from this feature, a superb photographer. Buckeye Mannikins was recently purchased by McKenzie Supply and Cary will now be a part of the McKenzie team, contributing new products and sculptures.

editor's note: This outstanding photographic collection of Canada geese comes from an even more extensive collection photographed by Cary Cochran. Every time I have the opportunity to visit with Cary at shows, our paths cross and he will have a new reference collection to show me. At the NTA convention this year, it was waterfowl. You may remember previous reference studies by Cary on turkeys and whitetail deer. We thank Cary for allowing us to share his photos with our readers. In the next issue we will publish part of Cary's extensive collection of reference of waterfowl bills, legs and feet. We should all wish and hope for Cary to have many successful waterfowl hunts this winter as his photographic talents will also benefit each one of us. Good luck, Cary!
